Once you are done with the basic setup making your Windows 7 based computer turn into a complete functional DVR with the entire required Hardware and software driver in place, it’s time that you start using your DVR for program recordings. There might be instances when you would not be at your home and you would wish not to miss your favorite TV show on any of your favorite channels. It’s also possible that you would be busy with something and would wish to look at your TV show later when you would be free.

Windows 7 DVR is the solution for you. You can record your program and work at the same time or the program would record itself when you would not be around.

Open Windows Media Center from the Start Menu. Search for Media Center and you would have the shortcut displayed in the search result area.

Head straight to search tab in the TV + Movies section.
