Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) are popular to everyone these days but not everyone can afford to have a complete DVR setup. The complete setup usually includes a standard TV, a setup top-box and a connection. All this would cost you quite a lot of money. We have an alternative for you. You can easily make a whole DVD yourself. All that you would need is:
- A computer,
- High quality display,
- TV Tuner card,
- A TV connection.
And you can get all this turned into a DVR quite easily.
Compatible Computer Setup
You will normally have a computer; all you need to do is to upgrade your Windows to Windows 7 to have the whole lot of features that Windows Media Center Offers. Windows Media Center is going to work as your DVD suite.
High Quality Display
Next you will need a display rendering high quality. There are a number of options available and any fairly reasonable display would do. We would suggest a TFT-Display if you can afford easily. This would give you a vibrant experience both while working as well as while having the video experience.
