Following are some screen shots of MoveIT

The first time when you start Outlook, after a successful installation of MoveIT, the Tips screen will show up. You can scroll through the tips by clicking the Next Tip / Previous Tip. If you don't want to see this screen whenever you start Outlook, click the "Don't show this" checkbox and click the OK button. To just close the Tips screen click OK. Should you wish to see the tips screen, it can be selected from the menu option available next to the MoveIT button.

Now that the tips screen is out of the way you will notice the MoveIT toolbar just under the File menu. The toolbar has changed in version 2.3.1.0 to reflect additional features. To start using MoveIT simply select a message you have finished working on and click the first MoveIT button (the one on the far left on the toolbar).

MoveIT Toolbar

The first time you click the MoveIT button on the toolbar (assuming you have no rules setup yet), you will see the New rule screen. While it is really simple and intuitive to use MoveIT, following is a simple step by step explanation about the New Rule screen.
You will need to specify three things here.
1. Rule Name - this is a descriptive name for the rule you are about to create, and will help you later to identify the rule should you want to make changes to it.
2. Building the rule - Use the drop down lists to decide based on what you want to file this email. Notice how the field for value changes as you change the options under "Sender Email". Most people use rules based on the senders email address. If you file all emails from a certain domain name under the same folder then in the rule you can specify AND, Sender Email, CONTAINS, @domainname.com (replace "domainname.com" with that company email domain name). Don't forget to click the Add button. Once you click the Add button, the rule will be displayed in the window, and you can continue adding conditions for this rule.
3. Now, click on Pick Folder, and select to which folder you want emails that fit this rule to be filed in. You can also create a new folder right from the selection screen.
Once you are done, click Save. The rule will be saved and the email will be moved to the specified folder. From now on, every time you click on MoveIT and the email fits this rule, it will be filed automatically in that folder. You will not need to create a rule every time you want to file an email.

MoveIT New Rule

By clicking on the arrow next to the MoveIT button or clicking the More option on the MoveIT toolbar, you can get some additional options like managing your rules. Click on Manage rule, and you will see a list of all your rules. Here you can change the priority of rules by selecting a rule and pressing the Up / Down buttons. The higher the rule on the list, the higher its priority.
Removing the checkmark from a rule, disables it (meaning it will not be used when filing emails). To delete a rule, selected the rule to be deleted and press the Delete button. You cannot un-delete a rule, so use caution when deleting a rule.
When selecting a rule, you will see its conditions under the Rule Description. By double clicking on a rule or selecting a rule and pressing Edit Rule, you can make changes to a rule. this is pretty much the same screen as the New Rule screen, and functions exactly the same.
